Founded in 1976 as Inventory Recording Services Inc., our mission was to provide inventory and parts department layouts for automobile dealers.
Services included design layouts, physical inventories and sales and installation of new and used automobile parts department shelving.
Over the past 39 years, the company has grown and expanded into other markets. This was key to our growth; not limiting focus to one industry. With the addition of the industrial storage market, our product line evolved to include a wide variety of material handling and storage capabilities. During this time, we changed our name to Industrial Rack and Shelving, Inc.
As our product lines continued to evolve, we decided to change our name to RDT Concepts. With this name change, we incorporated our newest line of services for the office environment to consist of file storage, mailroom, furniture and office design. Our current product offerings allow us to provide complete installation and services for your entire operation. We have positioned ourselves in the market to provide our clients with a complete solution from the front door to the back, eliminating the need for multiple vendors on any given project.
We represent over (200) manufacturers for shelving, high density storage, rotary storage, vertical carousels, mezzanine, pallet rack, industrial shelving, modular casework, mailroom, laboratory casework, and weapons storage.
RDT Concepts has aligned itself with leading manufacturers for the products and services we provide. All personnel are versed on the variety of products we offer, and our clients can be assured that we will strive for 100% satisfaction on any project, regardless of size.
Our commitment doesn’t stop at the front end of a project. We have factory trained installers who cover a large product base and strive to make every effort to meet or exceed your expectations. In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, we provide a standard warranty with all of our equipment and services. We have a complete service department to carry out warranty and/or service calls as well as preventative maintenance and full quality inspections of all products and services we provide.
It is our goal to ensure that your system is in full operation and up to specifications. We take pride and ownership in everything we do and we will not put our name on a recommendation that we cannot stand behind.

Our corporate headquarters is located in Avon, Ohio. Our 12,000 square foot warehouse has three loading docks and a drive up bay. In addition, we have approximately 20,000 square feet availble off site. Separate from our warehouse is our administrative departments in which we have our shipping and receiving area, drawing/planning department and conference room.
